To tell you a little bit about our story… When my son was young he was a fun loving child, curious, intelligent and lots of imagination and loved music.  There was no sign of mental illness.

Things started changing at the age of 15, 16 when my son started smoking Cannabis and hanging around with his friends more than he was at home.  By the age of 18 or 19 he smoked pot on a fairly regular basis to the point he got caught high in class, when he was in his second year in electronic engineering at college .  Every time he and I would have discussions regarding his addiction he would shrug it off by saying it is not addictive.  Ask him today, he will tell you how addictive it is. This is where I feel we need the right information accessible to our youth so they can make an informed choice. Also to everyone that thinks it will never happen to them.

At the age of 23, my son was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia with bipolar tendencies.
